- Clean your bed.
- Dial-in your printer, e-steps first and then temperature-, flow- and retraction towers.
- Make sure your filament is dry.
- Check your filament brand for temperatures. Most PLA filaments print with 200-220c nozzle and 45-55c bedtemp.
- Print the first layer a little thicker. (eg. 0.28mm if you print with a 0.20mm layerheight).
- Start with no fan for first 1-4 layers, then go for maximum fanspeed. PLA must be cooled fast to adhese on the former layer.
- Use an adhesive only if you still have problems. But normally, for PLA, you won`t need any adhesive.
- Use PEI sheet for best results, also with an adhesive (if necessary).
- Print your first layers slowly, like 20mm/s, with rest on 40mm/s. Then try to speedup and up your nozzle temp, flowrate and fanspeed a bit. A dual 5015 fan setup (like the Hero Me) is a great update for your printer.
- Standard is 2 walls, for stronger prints you can go to 4 walls.
- Standard print can use 20% infill. For stronger prints, go for more walls and max 60% infill. Full 100% infill is not the way to make prints stronger! More wall is the solution.
- Let the bed cool to room temperature after finishing helps tremendously with print removal. Most of the time it will popoff before it reaches room temperature.
