Tramming your printer
Although we all say “level your bed”, the term “tramming your printer” would be better. The term tramming comes from the CNC machines, which were here long before 3D printers came along.
Make sure your printer has all edges 90 degrees. That means frame, gantry and bed. A couple of video`s may help you with that. Following is for an Ender 3 series, but applies to many bedslingers
- Tram your printer/gantry, level and clean your bed.
Check out this youtube video from Wham Bam Systems - Do your Z-offset and optional babystep it on first layer
Laura Jacob explains babystep Z adjustments on an Ender 3 series in this video
Now it`s time to calibrate your printer for the filament you are gonna use. See Calibration
