Cleaning your bed seems such an easy task. And it is! But if you do not do it right, it will not help you.

In general, you take of the plate (glass, carborundum, PEI) and

• Clean it with hot soapy dishwash water, then rinse it off and wipe it dry with a clean cloth.
• Put the plate back on the printer and add some Isoprophyl Alcohol on it. I use 3DJake IPA. Keep on wiping it with a clean cloth or papertowel, until ALL is gone. The IPA doesn`t really resolve dirt and grease, so if you let it dry, it would just leave a small dirty film on the bed, making it even harder to adhese your filament on it.

Make sure you do NOT touch your bed with your fingers. Even the slightest touch could put grease from your fingers on the bed.

Now the bed is clean, we can have a look at the state of the filament.
